Al-Taqwa College is an independant school which educates students from prep to year 12. Al-Taqwa currently has three campuses: Al-Taqwa College, Truganina; Olive Branch, Tarneit and Sentul Campus, Indonesia. The College also has a campsite located near Lake Victoria called Camp Coorong.
Our Truganina Campus is situated in the western suburbs of Melbourne, and has approximately 1,400 students enrolled. Al-Taqwa is a coeducational, Islamic school.
Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies are offered at all levels.
The aim of the Arabic language program is to provide our students with solid linguistic skills so that they are able to read the Holy Quran and express themselves both verbally and in writing.
Alongside reading and memorising the Quran, students learn about the five pillars of faith, Halal and Haram and the various aspects of Islamic disciplines. Hadith and Sira of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions.
